Staff in the Department of History by research interest
The research of the Queen Mary Department of History is undertaken in the context of five broad subject areas: medieval and renaissance history; modern and contemporary history; eighteenth-century studies; film history; intellectual history, including the history of political thought.
There are also identifiable areas of specialism within each grouping, and many members of staff work in more than one of these areas.
