This page contains basic information on what to expect over the next few weeks, an introduction to some important tasks you will need to complete and some dates for your diary. We will keep you notified of any changes to this information, and final details will be emailed to you closer to the time.
The School of History is based on the top 3 floors of the ArtsTwo Building.
To visit us in person with any queries, come to the History Office on the 4th floor, Room 4.14 (immediately to your left as you come out of the lift). You will be greeted by our Student Support Officer Charlotte Davies, and she will be happy to help you find the answers to any questions you might have.

1.00pm Lunch for new students (Arts 2 SCR, 4th Floor)
2.00pm Campus Tour
2.30pm Main MA induction for all programmes (Arts Two 3.20)
4.00pm MA Programme inductions (various Arts Two rooms)
5.00pm Drinks Reception with Postgraduate Research Students (Arts Two SCR, 4th Floor)
Pre-enrolment and Module Registration
You will be contacted by our Academic Registry regarding your ‘pre-enrolment’. This sets up all your basic information before you arrive to make the enrolment process smooth and easy, and is done on-line through the student record system called ‘MySIS’.
You should get to know MySIS quickly as you will need it for a variety of tasks throughout your degree including selecting your modules and receiving your results. Enrolment will take place on 20th September from 09:30-10:00 in the Octagon. You will receive your photo ID card and email address during enrolment.
