Eleanor Betts wins 2009 Royal Historical Society/ History Today Dissertation Prize
We are delighted to announce that Eleanor Betts has won the 2009 Royal Historical Society/ History Today Dissertation Prize for her dissertation, entitled "Who will help? The impact of the 1866 cholera epidemic on the children of East London" supervised by Rhodri Hayward. This is the second time since 2007 that one of our students has won this prestigious national prize.
